Martin Garrix named world’s top DJ

The 20-year-old Dutch producer topped DJ Mag’s annual poll after one million votes were cast.

He beat the likes of David Guetta and Tiesto to take the title, becoming the youngest ever winner.

‘It feels unreal to have won,’ Garrix said. ‘I 100 per cent did not expect it at all. I’ve had an amazing year, with awesome shows and amazing fans.

“I’m so thankful for their support. I didn’t even do a campaign, and it just shows how dope the fanbase is.”

Garrix will join Justin Bieber on the Australian leg of his Purpose World Tour next year.
